This event forms part of the Norfolk School Games.

Entry is via the cluster qualifying competitions with each cluster having two representatives at the partnership event.

Format:

This event is for schools with 120 pupils or less in Reception to Year 6. Schools are invited to bring a squad of 10 from Years 4-6, with at least 1 boy and 1 girl in the squad. 6 players will start every game, with a minimum of one of each gender on the pitch at all times.

The competition will be outside so please ensure your team are dressed appropriately for the weather.

Timings:

9:30 am     Arrival/Registration

9:45 am     Welcome & Briefing

10:00 am - 1:30 pm     Competition

1:45 pm     Results & Presentation

2:00 pm     Departure

Medals will be presented to the members of the winning team and certificates to those finishing in 2nd and 3rd place.

The two highest finishing teams will then be invited to represent the South Norfolk SSP at the Norfolk School Games Tag Rugby Finals on Wednesday 1st February 2017 at Norwich Rugby Club.

Photo/Video Consent:

We use a variety of digital and social media to promote all of our events including our SSP website, Facebook/Twitter profiles. Please ensure you make SSP staff aware of any children without photo/video consent prior to the start of the event. These children will be asked to wear a yellow armband throughout the event which will indicate that no photographs/videos should be taken of them.
