NCC Emergency 1st Aid in Sport

This new and exciting course has been designed in conjunction with Norvic First Aid Training and is aimed at adults involved with the delivery of physical education/activity both in and out of curriculum time. It is designed to support staff in dealing with sports related incidents, implementing appropriate first aid treat ment and planning in a practical environment. It will cover the role of a sports first aider, emergency planning, basic life support, head,abdominal and chest injuries, Bone, Muscle and joint injuries and more genral health ailments such as Asthma and diabetes.
There will be practical scenarios for colleagues to consider including ‘reciprocal care agreements’ when off site.
