Diss&L. Stratton Cluster Sportshall Athletics

Diss and Long Stratton Cluster Sportshall Athletics Years 5+6

Over 120 year 5+6 pupils from Roydon, Bressingham, Dickleburgh, Scole, Tivetshall, Burston and St. Marys (Long Stratton) took part in an exciting day activities including speed bounce, javelin, chest push, standing long jump, vertical jump and target throwing at Long Stratton Leisure Centre. Every child managed to improve their individual attempts in all of the events and had lots of fun doing so.

The day was finished off with a variety of relays which resulted in hundreds of screaming pupils encouraging their teams on.

Congratulations go to Roydon who won the competition, equal runners up were St. Mary’s and Bressingham, followed by Scole, Tivetshall and Burston.

Roydon and St. Marys will represent our clusters at the South Norfolk School Sport Partnership finals on Tuesday 11th at the U.E.A.

Dickleburgh and Bressingham will represent our cluster at the same competition but for the small schools competition.
