Harleston Dance Festival

On Friday 20th Jan approx 35 year 1 and 2 pupils from the Harleston Cluster Primary schools enjoyed a dance workshop held at Archbishop Sancroft High School lead by the brilliant Neil Paris. Neil has considerable experience in performing, choreographing and directing shows and has done so all over Europe. After some fun warm up games where the children were allowed to explore movement, shape and levels in dance, the children choreographed their own dances based on their names. They also worked in groups to design a dance based around the Olympics and the values of the games. the event was supported by young leaders from years 10 & 11 who worked with the children in developing their ideas and performing their finished dances.
