South Norfolk SSP U14 Girls Basketball

Last Thursday's tournament at Framingham Earl High School was very well supported with 6 teams from the South Norfolk Partnership.   The tournament was played in pools and in the first pool the teams were; Hobart High School, Diss High School and Framingham Earl High School (1).  The competition was of a high standard and after a few tense games Framingham Earl High School (1) went on to win pool one.  In the second pool the competitors were; Wymondham High, Wymondham College and Framingham Earl High School (2).  All 3 teams had a very good team spirit, encouraging each other and were positive throughout.  Each team did incredibly well with some brilliant baskets.  The eventual winner from pool (2) was Wymondham High.   The final was an excellent match to watch and was very well supported by the spectators.  Framingham Earl High School (1) became the overall winners and all the players received winning medals.   Each team in the the tournament were very enthusiastic supporting not only their own players but the opposition and the officials.  The young people were a credit to their schools.   Finals positions:   1st Framingham Earl High School (1) 2nd Wymondham High 3rd Wymondham College 4th Diss High School 5th Hobart 6th FEHS
