Archbishop Cluster gym festival

On Wednesday 11th November pupils in Key Stage 1 from Harleston Primary and Alburgh with Denton Primary visited the Norfolk Academy of gymnastics.  The aim of the visit was for pupils to see and work in a club environment and use equipment that most schools do not have access to.

The emphasis was on fun and the three coaches from the club designed workshops incorporating the use of a widerange of the equipment.  The pupils seemed to have a fantastic time having a go on the beam, bars and doing some vaulting-diving in to the foam pit was a definate hit!!!!

Information was given out to the schools and it is hoped that some of the pupils will join the regular sessions already running at the gym club.
