120 pupils from the Long Stratton Primary Schools arrived at the leisure Centre on Wednesday 25th November for an afternoon of dance.
The workshop was led by Dance Coach Katherine Harmen and 15 Year 11 Leaders from the High School. The pupils were taken through a warmup and then they went off in their 8 groups to learn and pactice a routine that the leaders had put together.
The pupils were worked really hard for an hour putting their routine to music. We finished with a roll of honour where each group showed the rest of the group their performances.
Congratulations should go to all those who participated for their efforts and concentration throughout.
A special mention should go to Katherine and the Young Leaders as this dance festival would not have taken place without them.
