Wymondham Schools Tag Rugby Festival
The Wymondham Schools Tag Rugby Festival took place at Wymondham Rugby Club on one of the few dry, cold & sunny days in November. 8 teams from Barford, Barnham Broom, Morley, Robert Kett, Spooner Row, Wicklewood & Wreningham entered this year, which is an excellent turn-out, with the boys and girls demonstrating a very high level of skill as a result of many hours of excellent coaching by both Wymondham Rugby Club coaches and their own school staff.
The games were refereed by the club’s coaches led by Ian Bramley and were very ably assisted by a group of Year 9 Wymondham High School Pupils.
The scores on the day were extremely close with every team winning some of their games. The final results saw Robert Kett and Spooner Row taking 1st & 2nd places respectively and both will now go through to the Partnership Final on 11th January 2010, again kindly hosted by Wymondham Rugby Club.
