(Universities & schools have to pay £33.00 and ensure they have their own insurance) This fee includes an EN Candidate Resource pack and a Rule Book Cheques made payable to: : £25.00 Affiliated or £33.00 Non-Affiliated Norfolk County Netball Association and send to Sophie Pike, (address below)
Please come prepared to play as well as umpire – whistle & notepad required and packed lunch.
Participants should have some experience of umpiring or the preliminary umpiring award.
Course outcomes:
Penalising correctly obvious infringements of the rules;
Correct use of voice, whistle and terminology;
Positioning and movement;
Appearance and manner;
To keep an accurate scorecard and call the score (when Table Officials are not provided);
To identify the requirements for the England Netball 'C' Award;
The follow up from this basis and to receive mentoring
Prepare candidates for testing process; attendance only course will be umpiring league games on a regular
