Diss Family Cluster Tag Rugby
Youngsters had an exciting and cold afternoon of playing tag rugby at Diss High School on Wednesday. Pupils in Years 3+4 from six of our feeder primary schools took part in a round robin tournament. The tournament was played as a round robin format which meant that they had lots of game play which enabled the pupils to develop their rugby skills. All pupils contributed to the games they played in either by scoring a try, ‘tagging’ another player, making a successful pass to another team member. It was fantastic to see so many pupils get so involved in the games and to play with such a good team spirit.
Thanks must go to sixth form students from Diss High School who helped to officiate the games played and to Sports Leaders who helped to coach and encourage the younger pupils taking part with lots of enthusiasm.
The winning team was Bressingham finishing second was Garboldisham and third place went to St. Andrews followed by Burston/ Tivetshall A, Roydon, Busrton/Tivetshall B.
