The Activemark, Sportsmark and Partnership Awards were reviewed during 2008-09 and were not awarded for 2009. During this academic year, a national consultation has been carried out with representatives of the network and wider partners to determine a revised set of criteria for the Award that embraces the success measures associated with the 5 hour offer. Following this consultation, it has been agreed that the Awards for 2010 will be called Sportsmark Award for all schools and there will be three levels:Bronze, Silver and Gold.
In line with previous years, the school sport survey data that schools are currently collecting will be used to award the 2010 Awards.
Further details will be on the website www.teachernet.gov.uk/pe - in due course.
