Small Schools Festival Fun!

On the 14th June, over 250 Year 2 children from small schools across the South Norfolk School Sport Partnership took part in the Small Schools Festival at UEA.

The children took part in a carousel of different activities ranging from soft javelin's, target throws, multi skills to welly wanging!

Luckily the rain gods shone down on us and we all stayed dry, much to Energised Eddie the Partnership Bears delight!

'It was absolutely fantastic to see so may children enjoying the different activities. I must thank our leaders from Old Buckenham High School whose enthusiasm was infectious and really added to a hugely positive sporting experience for the children (Ron Marsh, Athletics Coach).''

Stuart Brunton-Douglas, Competition Manager added, '' Today was a great success. To see so many children enjoying and achieving across all the different activities just goes to show the benefits sport and PE play in a child social and physical development.''
