This is a free CPD opportunity. The half day training will provide research and practical ideas to implement active maths across the curriculum. Staff will leave the training with fun and active ideas which can be incorporated into maths.

The course looks at the research, rationale and benefits of introducing ‘active maths’ into the school curriculum- focusing on how this approach is raising attitudes and attainment to maths in schools across the UK and internationally.

Delegates will be introduced to the multi award winning educational resource ‘Maths of the Day’ ([http://www.mathsoftheday.org.uk)-]www.mathsoftheday.org.uk)- an online resource which provides teachers with over 2000+ lesson plans and resources on how to deliver maths through physical activity.
