This event is a year 1/2 Key Steps Gymnastics event within the South Norfolk School Sports Partnership.

Entry is open to all schools, no qualifying competitions required for entry.

Please note that this years event will not progress to the Norfolk School Games.

Format:

Schools are invited to bring a squad of 6, with a minimum of one boy and one girl per team.

If a pupil attends a community Gymnastics Club already, to be included in the team, they must train no more than 2 hours per week.

9:30 am    Arrival/Registration

9:45 am    Welcome & Briefing

10:00 am - 12:00 pm    Practice

12:00 pm - 12:30 pm    Lunch

12:30 pm - 2:00 pm    Competition

2:15 pm    ​Results

2:30 pm    Departure

Medals will be presented to the members of the winning team and certificates to those finishing in 2nd and 3rd place.

Risk Assessment

By booking to take part in this event you agree that you have read and understand the contents of the event risk assessment and the safeguarding and responsibilities form. Please note that schools are responsible for the transport, arrival and departure of their pupils. Schools should bring their own first aid kit and are responsible for the first aid of their students.

Photography/ videos

We use a variety of digital and social media to promote all of our events including our SSP website Facebook and Twitter profiles. By booking onto this event you are agreeing to our photo policy. It is the responsibility of the participating school to ensure that they have asked parents/guardian for permission for photos and videos of all participants to be taken by SSP staff or official event photographers.Please ensure you make the SSP staff aware of any children without photo/ video consent prior to the start of the event. These children will be asked to wear a yellow armband throughout the event which will indicate that no photographs/ videos should be taken of them.
