This event forms part of the Norfolk School Games.

Entry is open to all schools, no qualifying competitions required for entry. 

Format:

Each school are invited to bring a squad of 8-10 with 4 or 5 boys and 4 or 5 girls from Years 5 & 6 who will compete as a team.

Events

* 75m sprint

* 600m run

* Vortex Howler Throw 

* Standing Long Jump

* Relay (optional)

Each athlete is placed in a pool and competes in all events in a rotational sequence.

Individual performances (times and distances) are scored using a points table (the Quadkids spreadsheet calculates the points automatically).

The scores of the top 4 boys and top 4 girls over the four events are added together to give the team score and the team with the highest cumulative points score wins.

10:000 am     12.15 pm     Competition

12.15 pm    results

12.30  depart

The top three finishing schools will then be invited to represent the South Norfolk SSP at the Norfolk School Games Athletics Finals.

Risk Assessment

By booking to take part in this event you agree that you have read and understand the contents of the event risk assessment and the safeguarding and responsibilities form. Please note that schools are responsible for the transport, arrival and departure of their pupils. Schools should bring their own first aid kit and are responsible for the first aid of their students.

Photography/ videos

We use a variety of digital and social media to promote all of our events including our SSP website Facebook and Twitter profiles. By booking onto this event you are agreeing to our photo policy. It is the responsibility of the participating school to ensure that they have asked parents/guardian for permission for photos and videos of all participants to be taken by SSP staff or official event photographers.Please ensure you make the SSP staff aware of any children without photo/ video consent prior to the start of the event. These children will be asked to wear a yellow armband throughout the event which will indicate that no photographs/ videos should be taken of them.

The competition entry deadline for this event is: 24th April- Please note schools should enter 1 team only for this event. If you would like additional spaces please email and I will let you know if the full allocation of spaces is not taken up.
