Description

This event forms part of the Norfolk School Games.

Entry is via the cluster qualifying competitions with each cluster having one representative at the partnership event

Format:

This event is for schools with 120 pupils or less in Reception to Year 6. Schools are invited to bring a squad of 7-9 players from Y4-6, with a maximum of 3 boys and no more than 2 boys on the court at any one time.

Timings:

9:30 am     Arrival/Registration

9:45 am     Welcome & Briefing

10:00 am - 2:00 pm     Competition

2:15 pm     Results & Presentation

2:30 pm     Departure

Medals will be presented to the members of the winning team and certificates to those finishing in 2nd and 3rd place.

The winning team will then be invited to represent the South Norfolk SSP at the Norfolk School Games High 5 Netball Finals at UEA.

Risk Assessment

By booking to take part in this event you agree that you have read and understand the contents of the event risk assessment and the safeguarding and responsibilities form. Please note that schools are responsible for the transport, arrival and departure of their pupils. Schools should bring their own first aid kit and are responsible for the first aid of their students.

Photography/ videos

We use a variety of digital and social media to promote all of our events including our SSP website Facebook and Twitter profiles. By booking onto this event you are agreeing to our photo policy. It is the responsibility of the participating school to ensure that they have asked parents/guardian for permission for photos and videos of all participants to be taken by SSP staff or official event photographers.Please ensure you make the SSP staff aware of any children without photo/ video consent prior to the start of the event. These children will be asked to wear a yellow armband throughout the event which will indicate that no photographs/ videos should be taken of them.
