Description

The festival is aimed at children in year 1 and 2 who will progress around a carousel of stations learning basic cricket skills such as bowling, batting, fielding, throwing and catching. This event will be run by Norfolk Cricket Board with support from SSP sports leaders.

 Entry is open to all schools, no qualifying competitions required for entry.

 Please note this event will not progress to the Norfolk School Games.

 Format:

Schools are invited to bring ONE set of 20 children. 5 schools per session. Parents will be unable to spectate at this event.

 Timings:

12:30 pm    Arrival/Registration

12:45 pm    Warm up

1:00 pm - 2.20 pm    Festival Starts

2.30 pm Festival Ends and Schools depart

 Risk Assessment/ Covid Policy

By booking to take part in this event you agree that you have read and understand the contents of the event risk assessment, Covid Policy and the safeguarding and responsibilities form. Please note that schools are responsible for the transport, arrival and departure of their pupils. Schools should bring their own first aid kit and are responsible for the first aid of their students.

Photography/ videos

We use a variety of digital and social media to promote all of our events including our SSP website and Twitter profiles. By booking onto this event you are agreeing to our photo policy. It is the responsibility of the participating school to ensure that they have asked parents/guardian for permission for photos and videos of all participants to be taken by SSP staff or official event photographers. Please ensure you make the SSP staff aware of any children without photo/ video consent prior to the start of the event. These children will be asked to wear a yellow armband throughout the event which will indicate that no photographs/ videos should be taken of them.
