Description

We are collaborating with inspire+, a charity that successfully delivers a range of high-quality school-based apprenticeships in the East of England, including our area.  In fact, to date 38 local schools have accessed inspire+ PE, Sport & Wellbeing apprentices.

To find out more about inspire+ apprenticeships, click here.  Inspire+ has expanded its apprenticeship offer, including PE apprenticeships at level 2 and 4, by this year adding a level 3 Teaching Assistant with a PE focus.  Apprenticeship training is delivered locally, and you can read examples of the impact that current apprentices are having in schools here.

Vincent the charity’s CEO is attending a meeting on Wednesday 13th March at Framingham Earl at 4pm in the Sports Centre to further discuss how schools could get involved.  He will cover the support the charity gives schools (from recruitment of high-quality candidates, mentoring and regular school visits), how the local training supports the development of apprentices, the roles they have in school, the high impact they have, the apprenticeship levy and what it will cost the school to employ an apprentice.  Vincent is also hoping to bring along a local PE apprentice who will give you an insight into the work they do.
