Diss Cluster Tag Rugby 2017

One hundred and fifty Year 4, 5 and 6 children participated in the Diss Cluster Primary Schools Tag Rugby Festival held at Diss High School on Monday 20th November 2017. Seventeen teams from All Saints, Bressingham, Burston, Dickleburgh, Garboldisham, St Andrews and Tivetshall Primary Schools played in a series of competitive, skilful and closely contested games. Following the group stage, each team participated in a play-off match against the equivalent placed team from the other pool. The Festival was won by Garboldisham Primary School having defeated Bressingham Primary School by two tries to nil in a high quality and exciting final. Both teams have now qualified for the South Norfolk School Sport Partnership Tag Rugby Final.

The event was run by KS3 Sports Leaders from Diss High School. The twenty pupils were central to its delivery, refereeing the matches. They did a superb job.

An excellent afternoon of sport. Well done to all pupils who took part.
