Diss Cluster Cross Country 2018

Monday 15th October saw over 250 primary school children from year 3, 4, 5 and 6 descend on Diss High Schools field to compete in the Diss cluster cross country event. The children were competing for a chance to represent Diss Cluster at the South Norfolk School Sport Partnership event.  

There were some incredibly close races with some children determined to finish the course. All children who took part showed great determination and tried the very best they could.

A big thank you must go to the Diss High School sports leaders who did a superb job of marshalling, being hares, collating the results and providing support and encouragement throughout, without these leaders, the event could not have taken place.

Congratulations to the top 10 runners in each age group and gender who will progress to the South Norfolk SSP event, which is being held at Old Buckenham Country Park on Wednesday 7th November. Good luck to all who are taking part.
