SNSSP Cross Country event

The South Norfolk School Sports Partnerhip Cross Country event took place at the pictureque Old Buckenham Country park on Wednesday 7th November where runners from year 3-6 across the seven clusters within South Norfolk competed.

Students had to qualify for the South Norfolk event via their cluster competition, with the top 10 runners in each age group qualifying. We had over 500 runners taking part at the South Norfolk event, with students demonstrated fantasitc spirit, enthusiam and determination!

The top 10 finishers in each race qualified to represent South Norfolk at the Norfolk School Games Finals on March 6th at Holkham Hall - congratulations to the 80 children who will be part of our team! 

The overall cluster results were as follows:

1st Old Buckenham Cluster

2nd Wymonhdam Clusrer

3rd Framingham

4th Hobart

5th Diss 6th Archbishop

7th Long Stratton

A massive thank you to the Old Buckenham High School leaders who acted as front and back runners for each race, course marshalls, organised the results, organised the finish line and helped throughout the day! 

In addition, thank you to all staff and team managers who helped organise their team along with the fabulous students who performed so well!
