Fantastic competition for all at Handball!

Tuesday 31st January saw 7 teams across South Norfolk compete in the School Games Handball event. An exciting event ensued as pupils aged 13-15 took part throughout the afternoon. The targeted group for this event was year 9-10 boys who are competitive in nature and enjoy performing and competing against others. This event took place at the UEA, Sportspark.

The venue came alive with the sound of cheering and camaraderie as the schools battled it out to become champions. Matches were highly contested and closely fought for, often coming down to the last couple of minutes! And final results coming down to goal difference.

Results for the Games were as follows:

1. Wymondham High Academy

1. Framingham Earl 1

3. Framingham Earl 2

4. Wymondham College 1

5. Long Stratton 1

6. Long Stratton 2

7. Wymondham College 2

Congratulations to all the teams who took part. It was a brilliant afternoon with a great atmosphere throughout and fantastic performances on show from all schools and teams involved.
