About the SSP

Who are we?

The South Norfolk School Sport Partnership (SSP) is hosted by Framingham Earl High School which is part of the Sapientia Education Trust. The SSP is a network of 55 Infant, Junior and Primary Schools and 8 Secondary Schools. The SSP is managed by Laura Goodswen School Games Organiser.

Our Vision

Creating an energised culture which focusses on each child achieving their personal best.

Our Mission

To provide a broad range of opportunities to ensure all young people in South Norfolk can get involved in sport and physical activity.

What we do?

As a partnership we are committed to providing an inclusive, varied and high quality PE and School Sport experience. To help achieve this we offer schools a wide range of activities including events, competitions and festivals as well as providing support to schools.

Each year the School Sport Coordinators provide their cluster of schools with a range of participation and competitive opportunities that feed directly into our South Norfolk SSP finals. We also offer schools the opportunity to participate in the Level 3 Norfolk School Games Programme.

The SSP provides teachers and PE leads a selection of training courses, one to one support and guidance, school resources and support with coaching in schools.

The SSP works with a wide range of partners including local schools, Active Norfolk, Youth Sport trust. We aim to support schools and young people across South Norfolk to reach their potential through PE and Sport, leadership and physical activity.
