110 year 9+ girls from Harleston Sancroft Academy, Diss High, Long Stratton High, Hobart High, Wymondham High Academy, Wymondham College and Old Buckenham High spent the day at Long Stratton Leisure Centre on Wednesday 14th June at our This Girl Can Festival. The focus for the festival was self-belief and the girls showed this in abundance as they gave their all throughout the day. They all had a go at Zumba, Yoga, Box fit and Bootcamp Training.
Today’s event has been fantastic with many of the girls engaging with an SSP event for the very first time. The project aim is to introduce girls to activities they may not have experienced before that will inspire them to join a local leisure centre or local sports club outside of school.
Thank you to Long Stratton Leisure centre for hosting the day as well as providing the four deliverers. All of the pupils received a certificate of participation along with a timetable of activities at Long Stratton Leisure Centre and a free session voucher.
