On Tuesday 31st October, we ran our Year 7 Sportshall Athletics at Framingham Earl High School. This competition was a COMPETE EVENT for pupils who are competitive in nature and enjoy performing and competing against others. Pupils that displayed School Games Values were celebrated alongside the results. Schools attending included Wymondham College and Framingham Earl.
The day provided the Year 7 pupils (squads of 16 – 8 boys and 8 girls) the opportunity to represent their schools and take part in the following track and field activities.
All the pupils were engaged, active and improved across the competition After some great performances from all the teams involved, the results were announced. These were as follows.
Girls- 1st Wymondham College 2nd Framingham Earl
Boys- 1st Framingham Earl 2nd Wymondham College
Overall, it was a fantastic afternoon with a brilliant atmosphere throughout and great performances on show from schools and teams that were involved. Thank you to the sports leaders from Framingham Earl who were amazing and helped with judging both the track and field events and encouraged/supported the pupils to perform their activities.
If pupils have enjoyed today’s event, we encourage them to take part in the Norfolk County Sportshall Championships taking place on Saturday 13th January. Further information can be found here Sportshall County Championships | Norfolk Sports Hall
