Partnerships Finest Come Head-to-Head

Partnerships Swimming Gala

On Thursday 1st October the Norfolk Schools Swimming Association held the senior swimming gala for all those young people in years 10-13. The event took place at the UEA Sportspark and consisted of all of the School Sport Partnerships from across Norfolk.

The South Norfolk team was made up of 6 boys and 6 girls, with events consisting of 50m/ 100m across all disciplines and relays.

All young people swam brilliantly with some excellent times being recorded. An extra well done to all those that swam up in the 12/13 year age group. The team worked very hard throughout the competition and throughly enjoyed themselves.

The result was close but ultimately it was the team from West Norfolk that took the honours, with the South Norfolk team finishing in a credible fourth place.

The aim of the swimming gala was to offer opportunities to those between the ages of 14-19 and increase the number of swimmers having the opportunity to represent their partnership in a county swimming final.

The partnership would like to offer thanks to all who helped out on the day and would like to congratulate all of the swimmers for competing.
