SNSSP Y7-11 Inclusive Sports Festival

Pupils from high schools in the South Norfolk School Sports Partnership had the opportunity to take part in Boccia, Goalball, Sitting Volleyball and Table Tennis as part of the SSP Y7-11 Inclusive Sports Festival on Friday 13th October 2017 at the Sportspark, UEA.

The aim of this event was to provide pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) in mainstream education the opportunity to participate in a carousel of inclusive activities.

Activities were delivered by coaches from local clubs/organisations including; Norfolk Boccia Club, Norfolk & Norwich Goalball Club, Ruth Nicholls Volleyball Foundation and Tennis Edge. The event was also supported by Sports students from Easton College.

Each pupil received a participation certificate following the event, along with details of further community club opportunities should they wish to participate in any of the activities again.
