Active Lifestyles- This Girl Can Workshop

This Girl Can- well, these girls did!

What a fantastic morning! The This Girl Can workshop at Framingham Earl High School was a huge success. The focus of the festival was body confidence and the girls showed this in abundance as they gave their all throughout the morning. They all had a go at boxing, yoga/ pilates, mindfulness along with brainstorming sessions about what our bodies can do and how we feel good from physical activity. 

Some pupil responses to the workshop:

" The workshop was a mixture of fun and education and learning about body confidence was cool".

"Go to one of these workshops".

"Brilliant fun to hang out whilst being active".

All the pupils who took part in the workshop received This Girl Can t-shirts along with a flyer which included information on free taster sessions at Framingham Earl Sports Centre. Pupils were also encouraged to access the new Active Norfolk activity finder www.everymove.uk 

A big thank you must go to Kimberley Fearn who delivered the session and to all girls for taking part, looking forward to our next session at Long Stratton High School.
