What is my school's responsibility?
The Government Childhood Obestiy plan has set out the ambition for all children to achieve 60 minutes of physical activity every day, with schools being responsible for delivering 30 of these active minutes.
At least 30 minutes should be delivered in school every day through active break times, PE, Extra-currciular clubs, active lessons, or other sport and physical activity event with the remaining 30 minutes supported by parent and carerr outside of school time.
Remember this MUST be a whole school approach.
